My Digital Life, Co. presented a unique opportunity to update the dated visuals and branding of an I.T. firm to be synonymous with the modern technology that they support.

 

I started by updating the text-based logo that the firm has had since being founded in the early 90s, using a customized typeface for the abbreviation, and Futura for the expanded name. As an added bonus, the Futura name was fitting for the modernization of the MDL brand.

OLD WORDMARK

In further developing the graphics and visuals for My Digital Life, it was decided early on that the color scheme would consist largely of light grays, whites, and a bright cyan for contrast - creating a sharp, elegant, and professional look.

 

And because of the data-intense nature of the site, stunning high-definition photography and customized graphics were positioned in a way that would support and enhance the information, rather than distract from it.
